We spent the most time on O'ahu and saw a great deal of what this beautiful island has to offer in the way of scenery and activities. Here are the sections into which we've divided our photos:
- Honolulu and vicinity. The city itself is quite lovely, for the most part, but most of our photographs were taken on our hike in the Manoa Valley, on a tour to Pearl Harbor, and a climb up Diamondhead. This section does include our luau photos and shots of Hanauma Bay, a short bus ride from Waikiki.
- Around the island. We rented cars on two different occasions and drove all around the north and east shores, stopping to hike up to Makapuu Point and to snorkel off the beach at Lanikai.
- Surfing. Henry took lots of neat pictures of surfers, primarily on the north shore (although the competition we had hoped to see up there was canceled the day we were there) and at Sandy Beach, just east of Honolulu.
