NOTE: Pictures of people taken at our homes in Great Falls are in the Montana—Homes section. The few pictures here were taken elsewhere in the city, or in some cases that's what I surmise.

Here are a couple of pictures which I believe were taken in the park in downtown Great Falls, soon after we arrived, judging by how young Joan and I look. One taken in our first fall, the other in our first winter, in Montana:

This photo was taken, I believe, along the Missouri River, possibly at the Great Falls itself, although the view from this angle doesn't look familiar to me. CORRECTION: This is Rainbow Falls, which is one of the four remaining visible falls (out of 5) that daunted the Lewis and Clark expedition. Rainbow Falls is closer to the main part of town than the Great Falls, which is, oddly, a couple of miles downstream from the city of Great Falls! On the right is Rainbow Falls today.

Here is a photo of Dad with two of his buddies, probably taken at the Air National Guard base, although it could have been at Malmstrom. Dad is on the left. The gentleman in the middle is his good friend Henry Maine. The other officer looks familiar, but I can't think of his name.
