Around town in Edinburgh

Edinburgh is a delightful city. Admittedly, we didn't get to see too much of it in the short time we had there. I'd love to go back and spend more time exploring. Here are two views of the city taken from the great vantage point of Edinburgh Castle:

Individual buildings are as impressive as the more panoramic views. I wish I knew what these lovely structures are, but we just weren't in Edinburgh long enough for me to gain any familiarity with the city. (I found out later the building on the left just below is the National Bank of Scotland.)

One structure we came to know pretty well was our B&B, Grosvenor Gardens. The bay window in the photo on the left was in our room, and the nice little tray of goodies was waiting for us when we checked in, complete with complimentary decanter of Scotch!

I can also identify some of the structures in these photos, or at least where they were taken.

Finally, on the left below is a view out a window in the National Museum of Scotland. And on the right is a street scene near our B&B.
