We already knew, from visiting Coricancha in Cusco, and Tambomachay just outside the city, that the Inkas were terrific hydroengineers as well as stone masons. At the left below is a view of a channel in town, in the center is a channel out by the ruins, and on the right is a stream following a more natural course:
And here are three views of a lovely fountain structure near the lower buildings...
